Important and urgent are two different things
An email can be important without being urgent, or urgent without being important. The AI judges both separately: who is writing, what they need and by when. It reads deadlines like “by Friday”.
Your rules come first
Tell the AI what matters to you in plain sentences: “messages from Maja are always important” or “booking confirmations are never urgent”. When you correct a label, it learns from it.
Notifications only when it counts
Your phone only buzzes for important things – with quiet hours in the evening and rules for single people, for example when you're waiting for a specific reply. The notification shows the content and the reason, not just the subject.
Time, not counters
Instead of a red counter, Tailwind Inbox shows how long it will take, for example “about 12 minutes”, in small batches. Done, later or reply – then the next message.
Frequently asked questions
How can AI triage my email?
Tailwind Inbox uses AI to label every incoming email and chat – important, urgent or quiet – based on sender, content and deadlines. Your own rules, written in plain sentences, take priority.
Does Tailwind Inbox help with inbox zero?
Yes. You work through one message at a time with a prepared reply and see an estimated time instead of a counter. Newsletters and bulk mail stay quietly in the background.
Will I get a notification for every email?
No. By default only for important and urgent messages, with quiet hours in the evening. You can set your own rules for single people.
